Where applicable, we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • your name, telephone number, email address and contact preferences;

Please do not provide sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary for us to assist you.

3. How we collect information

We generally collect personal information directly from you through our website forms, energy assessment, telephone calls, emails, appointments, site inspections and service delivery. We may also receive information from an authorised representative, referral partner, contractor or publicly available source where permitted.

Website forms

Our Contact and Energy Assessment forms are powered by Gravity Forms. Information submitted through these forms is sent to us and may also be stored within our WordPress website, depending on the form settings.

4. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • meet our legal, regulatory, insurance and safety obligations.

5. When we disclose information

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to service providers that support our business, including installers and contractors, technology and website providers, email and cloud hosting providers, professional advisers, payment or finance providers selected by you, manufacturers and warranty providers, and government or regulatory bodies where required by law.

We do not sell personal information. Some technology providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where the Australian Privacy Principles apply, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances before disclosing personal information overseas.

6. Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate forms, maintain security and remember preferences. If analytics, advertising, embedded maps, videos or reCAPTCHA services are enabled, those providers may collect technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.

7. Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, secure hosting, software maintenance and limiting access to people who need the information for their work.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy or to meet legal, tax, insurance, warranty and business-record obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
