Commercial Solar, Ipswich

The Ipswich Industrial Co. was spending over $22,000 per year on electricity across their warehouse and office facilities. Operating primarily during daylight hours, they were ideally positioned for commercial solar — but needed a system that met AS/NZS standards and could be approved by their network provider.

Enviren designed and installed a 99kW commercial rooftop array across two roof sections. The design included structural engineering, three-phase inverters and full DNSP application management. All works were completed outside business hours to avoid disruption to operations.

The system has consistently outperformed projections, generating over 148,000kWh in its first year. Energy costs dropped by over $18,000 annually, delivering an ROI timeline ahead of the original business case. Enviren also assisted with Large-scale Generation Certificate (LGC) registration.
