The Reynolds family were paying over $620 per quarter and felt exposed to ongoing energy price rises. Their north-facing roof was ideal for solar but they also wanted backup power during storms, which are common in Camp Hill.

Enviren designed a 13.2kW system with 33 panels paired with a 10kWh home battery. The battery was sized to cover the family's overnight usage and provide whole-home backup during grid outages. A solar-integrated EV charger was also included to cover their new electric vehicle.

Since installation, the Reynolds family have reduced their quarterly bill from $620 to under $80. During two grid outages since install, their home remained fully powered. Their EV is charged almost entirely from surplus solar production.
